What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy On Missing Depo Shots?
Hello I missed my depo shot by two weeks and I had unprotected sex. What is the possibility of being pregnant? I m having constant dizziness and lower abdominal pains, I ve been feeling really sick lately but its too early to have a pregnancy test and I don t know what to think or do, I need advice please. I understand your concern.
Depo provera takes about 4-6 weeks for return of fertility. So unprotected sex after 2 weeks of withdrawal of depo shot should not have conception.still you can check it by blood HCG testing after 1 month of sex.
The symptoms of dizziness/ abdominal pain you are withdrawal symptoms.
If you want to continue contraception,you should use additional ( barrier )contraceptive till one month of taking the dose of depo shot .
