What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy While On IUD Birth Control?

Hello , can I ask a question I hv been use iud family planning and since 6 yrs no check up, my period was been regular Nd lately by last 1 month I was been active n sx. I was delayEd for going 2 month . Last I test for pregnancy test but came negative . I was feel Nd notice abdomen bloated and like pregnancy symptoms incountered. Is it I'm pregnant?

I understand your query.
I don't know which IUD you had used. The longest contraceptive coverage by IUD is 5 years . You did not have any check up in last 6 years, of course not changed the IUD after it's expiry date.So you are not under protection with expired IUD.
- In this case, a fertile woman , active in sex does have chance of conception.
- Though bloated abdomen can be seen in pregnancy, it does not confirm pregnancy. Conception can be confirmed by +ve pregnancy test done after 8 days delay in periods. Please do it in time to know about pregnancy.
- THe delayed periods in last two months also suggest menstrual irregularity.& you need to manage it with help of a gynaecologist.
