Hi on the 27 March 2010, my boyfriend and i had sexual intercourse without a condom but he didn t ejeculate inside me, he withdrew before ejeculating (well hopefully) about 2 weeks after i felt little abdominal cramps, not painful at all, but took a home pregnancy test which came out negetive. well after about 3 weeks i got my periods, which were about 3 days late, they took longer than usual and experienced contraction like pain with things like blood clotts coming out, is it possible that i was pregnant?
Hi, Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar here. I welcome welcome you to HCM VIRTUAL CLINIC. I have gone through your question , and I think I have understood your cconcern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
1 ) First of all do not worry.
2 ) As you said, you had your periods although a bit late and heavy. It suggests that you were not pregnant. And your urine test also supports this.
3 ) secondly, even if your partner has not ejaculated inside the vagina, pre ejaculation secretion does contain enough sperms to cause pregnancy.
4 ) I will suggest you to get proper sex counselling done. Use of condom will help to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STD.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
