What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hello I am an 18 year old female. I have had unprotected sex about 3-4 weeks ago while i was starting my menstrusal, which was not planned. The following day I throw up but maybe because I was eatting to fast. I have been nauseous and extremely tired lately, and the smell of seafood makes me gag. My menstrual is not due to this week but last week I spotted for 5 days and my periods usually last 7 days. Could I be pregnant. Even though I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Everyone said that I took the test to earlier?

Hallow Dear,

It is impossible to conceive by an intercourse on the first day of the menses as no egg is released on that day. Moreover, you are yet to get/miss your period. So there is no logic in suspecting the pregnancy. Missing a period is the first cardinal symptom of pregnancy. Moreover, pregnancy test done in this phase of the cycle will always give negative results even in the presence of pregnancy.

If you had only that incidence of unprotected intercourse, you may safely forget about the chances of pregnancy.

I hope this takes off your stress.
