What Are The Chances Of Relapse In Case Of Endometrial Cancer?

I am a 62 year old woman who has recently had a hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. It was Stage 1a, grade 1, but with positive washings. because the type of cancer was the rare mucinous adenocarcenoma, the doctor couldn t give me specific chances of relapse.

stage Ia cancer usually will not have peritoneal washing positivity. yes mucinous carcinoma of endometrium is a rare disease, but by the whole, all stage Ia grade 1 cancers behave better than other stages, with a relapse rate less than 10% in 5 years.. kindly review your tissue blocks in any qualified oncology oriented pathology labs and pathologists to reconfirm the diagnosis. if grade2 and even slight myometrial invasion vaginal brachytherapy will be required. sivaprakash80@gmail.com
