What Are The Chances Of Returning To Normality After Drug Overdose?

My friend was laced with pcp on Wednesday and had a severe overdose. I was put unknowingly in weed she had smoked. She had 3 seizures and lost all sense of who she is. It has been 4 days. She has been getting slightly better and says small words but mostly just stares around an looks like theres nothing inside left of her. I cant go see her yet because she is too bad off. What are the chance of her returning to normality?

The recovery after severe brain damage varies. There will be some recovery. There will be less recovery if there was more damage. Imaging studies can show the extent of damage. At 4 days it is difficult to say. Furthermore, someone with seizures frequently CONTINUES TO HAVE THEM and they can be missed and the person stays messed up until they are controlled. Furthermore, most people who have new life-threatening seizures are put on medicines to prevent them dying and these brain dampening drugs have effects. The drugs can be modified under controlled conditions to be less sedating/muddling.
