What Are The Chances That Pre-cum Can Cause Pregnancy?

I am in need of some advice. Please help me? Six days ago my boyfriend and I had sexual intercourse. It started with foreplay and he ejaculated once. After a few minutes we had unprotected sex. He did the pull out method. He did not ejaculate inside of me. Yesterday I read an article about a man s pre-cum . Now I am scared that I might be pregnant! What are the chances that his pre-cum can make me pregnant and can I take a pill to avoid it? It s already been sex days and my period is only due in another 15 days. Or maybe I can take a pill to make me get my period immediately? Please help me I am so confused and worried? -N

Hello Nicole,

The pre cum (pre ejaculatory fluid) is mainly composed of Seminal fluid & Cowper's fluid.
It is similar in composition to semen, though there are some chemical differences.
However, studies have found low levels of sperm in this fluid.

So, even if this pre ejaculatory fluid (pre cum) enters into the genital tract, the sperms present in it can fertilize the ovum, resulting in pregnancy.

But the chance of occurrence of such an event is less.

There is no need to worry, you can wait till your periods.
If they are delayed, a Pregnancy test can be done to confirm it.
In case of pregnancy, it will give a positive result within one week.
