What Are The Common Side Effects Of Silent Sinus Syndrome?

I was diagnosed with Silent SInus Syndrom about a year ago. I haven t had too many problems, but recently I started to get dizzy/light headed a lot - many times throughout the day. If I go up in an elevator or get off the train especially. Is that a common side effect of sss?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi
silent sinus syndrome does not present with dizziness .
diplopia or sinusitis with pain in sinuses is the usual presentation .
collapse of sinus walls occur which may cause closure of maxillary sinus entry .
if so it needs correction by endoscopic surgery .
if diplopia is present it needs correction .
but dizziness is not related to this until sinus infection occur and u fell sick.
consult ENT surgeon first and then general physician .
