What Are The Complications With IUD?
Im 32, 5.9' 220 lbs and have an IUD and have been told my body is rejecting. I will be having it removed tomorrow. what complications can you have from this other than bleeding, pregnacy, pain ect. Im concerned with scar tissue, problems with my filopian tube and l ovary. an earlier ct said i have something on my l ovary... so it was probly my IUD??

Hello,
IUD can cause may side effects but I guess you are only interested in knowing side effect on uterus and ovary.
Uterus- heavy bleeding commonly, PID commonly, perforation less likely
Ovary- ovarian cyst formation.
