As you mentioned that you were exposed to HIV infected person in 1999 .
Almost 15 years passed and you are also having a daughter of 8 years with fine health and HIV free.
You didn't got any HIV infection sometimes 15 years back .
if you would have been infected , you might have developed HIV symptoms , so you didn't got infection . Since your daughter is also HIV free , this is another proof that you were HIV free even after that exposure .
Otherwise it is also very clear that so many person don't get any HIV infection even after sexual contact with an HIV infected person as it happened in your case.
