Thank you for query.The chances of transmission of HIV by sexual route is 1/ 200 to 1/2000 even if the partner is HIV infected.It is least as you have protected intercourse.Your case the HIV status is negative according to partner.So relax and allay fears of HIV.You can go for HIV RNA PCR if you are really anxious about HIV .this will definitely be the best test to detect at 30 days post exposure.You can get back for any clarifications with details.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and venereologist

Hello
You are in confusion about your HIV status.
Note down these earliest sign and symptoms of HIV infection;
Fever , pharyngitis, lymphadenopathy, headache/retro-orbital pain ( behind eyes), arthralgias/myalgias, lethragy/malaise, anorexia /weight loss, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea .
Erythematous maculopapular rash, mucocutaneous ulceration ( on tongue).
Western blot is the most commonly used confirmatory test ( 99.5% sensitive and specific ) ant detects antibodies to HIV antigens of specific molecular weights.
Antibodies to HIV begin to APPEAR within 2 weeks ( 14 days ) of infection , and the period of time between initial infection and the development of detection of detectable antibodies is RARELY more than 3 months .
Get in nucleic acid amplification test as soon as possible for your doubt.
Since in your case already 30 days passed so result be conclusive and accurate.
Good luck.
