What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hello, me and my girlfriend had protected sex with a condom the day after her period ended and I pulled out as soon as I had finished. However, she has told me she has had mild cramps in the abdominal area 2 days after having intercourse. Is this too soon for a pregnancy test? Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

Thank you for the question and thank you for visiting our site.

Given that you used a condom AND had intercourse during a point in her cycle when conception is extremely unlikely, the chance of a pregnancy is almost zero. A test will turn positive about two weeks after conception, so it is too early to check at just two days since intercourse. The mild cramps do not sound like specific signs of pregnancy. She should check a pregnancy test now if you have had intercourse in the past, and she should check again in about 2 weeks.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
