What Are The Early Signs And Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hello. I am a taking Phenytoin 2 capsules twice daily or 4 total daily. I recently was feeling pregnancy symptoms, such as nausea, breast tenderness, constipation, a period 1-2 weeks late, and when it began, mostly spotting for 2-3 days, outlandish cravings, dizziness when getting up too quick, odd cramping on the left side, back pain, and other symptoms. I took 2-3 pregnancy tests at different times but they came back negative. My dosage is high to ensure that there are no seizures. I wondered if the dosage I am on would cause a false negative tests as symptoms are still ongoing? If so, what % would you say would result in a false negative pregnancy test? Thanks for your response.

1.Urine pregnancy test is 97% accurate, there is 3% possibilities of false positive / negative.
2.In your case it may vary, better test would be BHCG blood analysis will give you the exact result.
3.If you are my patient i would have ask for an ultrasound scan to find out the cause of the symptoms.
4.Suggest you to get an appointment and see your GP, however your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy.
5.You can take things easy if you feel symptoms resolved. As tests are negative.
