I am 44 years old and I had unprotected sex the day I was ovulating, I am usually very regular, every 28 days now I am 2 days late, i didthe home pregnancy test and came back negative, could i be pregnant or going through my changes. thank you, Maria

Hi, thanks for writing.. I understand your concern..
Get a repeat pregnancy test with early morning urine sample after 1 week. If you want to confirm get a hcg blood test. Value greater than 25 indicates positive pregnancy. If preg test neg after 1 week, you can take progesterone tablet to get your withdrawal bleeding. Hope I have answered your queries. Good day
