Hi Dear, I have gone through your query and have understood your frustration.
Safe period is in fact not that reliably safe method of birth control, however,
emergency contraceptive pill if taken in correct dosages and within time have got a very good result.
During breast feeding, particularly if it is not exclusive breast feeding, periods may be irregular at times. You have taken 5 days
Modus (
medroxyprogesterone) course. If you were not pregnant, you should have got the menses within a weeks time.
Though your previous two urine
pregnancy tests were negative, the latest done on 18th June is positive. So you are most likely to be pregnant.
The best option for you now is to get
ultrasonography done to confirm the pregnancy. If it confirms the pregnancy and you do not want to continue with this pregnancy, you may opt for Medical Termination of Pregnancy. By this method, up to 9 weeks of pregnancy, you can safely terminate the pregnancy with the use of some medicine orally and/or vaginally. However, these medicines need be prescribed by and to be taken under the supervision of an Obstetrician only. Not to be purchased over the counter.
I hope, I have cleared your confusion and have given you proper guidance.
