What Are The Effects Of Breathing Fumes Caused During Urine And Bleach Pregnancy Test?

I foolishly tried the urine and bleach pregnancy test without thorough research into it....I breathed in some fumes, but not a lot I believe. It burned my eyes for a short time, and if I breathe out completely I wheeze a little, but I feel fine. What are the effects of breathing those fumes?? If I were pregnant, how could it (or would it) affect my baby??

Hello ma'am and welcome.

I am sure this is a small dose and should not cause much trouble, but just make sure you drink plenty of fluids and also clean your hands and eyes with only water and no other solution other than of course soap. Side effects will subside in a while.

A headache may also result, but if pregnancy has been confirmed I would request you to visit a doctor at the earliest.
