What Are The Effects Of Eating Ice On Esophagus?
I m addicted to eating ice, it s been about five years now, and I was wondering what sort of effects ice has on the esophagus. My throat has been hurting a lot lately when I swallow foods or acidic drinks. I had thought it might be caused by my molars loosing their shape and me not being able to chew food normally. I finally got rid of the ice trays at home so this can stop.

This is kind of psychological condition, and eating ice is dangerous one ( pagophagia) because this could cause cracking of teeth, infection, such condition happens due to low iron, but eating ice more reduces the iron level, you should try to come out of this condition soon, hope this information helps, take care.
