Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Are The Effects Of Having BP Lowering To 30/18 Due To Overdosage Of Tylenol?
A few years back I ended up in the hospital from overdosing on 100 tylenol sleeping pills and a hand full of some sort of heart pills. Things took a turn for the worst and my blood pressure dropped to 30/18. After a while I was doing better. In the end I had no negative side effects and all was well. I've always wondered what should have most likely happened to me with my blood pressure dropping so low.
You are concerned about your blood pressure dropping to 30/18 a few years back. With a low blood pressure you would have experienced extreme dizziness and probable loss of consciousness. If they reversed the low blood pressure quickly you should have no ill effects. If you have not had any over the past few years then I believe you should be OK
I hope this answers your question. if you have any further questions please contact us again.
