What Are The Effects Of Removal Of Frontal Lobe?

my neice was shot in the head ten days ago she is nineteen weeks pregnant. they have removed part of the right frontal lobe of her brain and have been giving her manatol for the swelling in her brain. i am wondering what could be the effects of the removal of her frontal lobe. she is paralized on her left side but still has a lettle movement but only when they are checking her reflexes. do you think this is permanent or could she possibly gain use of the left side.
