What Are The Effects Of Taking Misoprostol Before Conception?

I took two doses of misoprostil with a pain medication after a tooth surgery. Due to a transient ulcer. The miso was suppose to help. That was jan 19th. On the 21st of jan I had my period. Then early feb I was ovulating and became pregnant. do you think that would cause birth defects if taken two weeks prior to conception?

Nope. By that time misoprostol ll have no effect on your baby. Still i would like you to do complete antinatal care by frequently visiting your obstetrician and do the required tests to ensure the health and other risks to your baby.
