What Are The Findings Shown In My Brain Test Report?
Hello, I have the following test results, but do not understand what they mean. Can you offer any information? Right Lobe: 5.5 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm. Multinodular right lobe of the gland with largest nodule measuring approximately 1.0 x 1.1 x 1.3 cm. This demonstrates a cystic appearance without evidence of internal vascularity. Left Lobe: 5.7 x 2.3 x 2.5 cm. Multinodular left lobe of the thyroid gland with largest nodule measuring 2.1 x 1.7 x 1.5 cm. This demonstrates a mixed solid and cystic appearance without increased internal vascularity. Isthmus: 0.9 cm. There is there is also a mixed solid and cystic nodule within the isthmus measuring approximately 1.0 x 0.7 x 0.7 cm. There is some increased vascularity peripherally.
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have report of ultrasoundthyroid. suggest mutinodular goitre. Solid and cystic areas are there. You should go for fine needla aspiration cytology to know exactly what kind of lesion is that. If it is benign then no need to worry. So just consult your surgeon and investigate further and then take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
