What Are The Health Issues Of Inhaling Smoke And Rubber Fumes?

Our fan in the HVAC burned out in the middle of the night and we woke up to smoke and rubber smell at 5 in the morning. Not sure how long we were inhaling the fumes. I have severe allergies and wondering how inhaling these fumes will affect my health and what signs should I look for if any health issues..
