PS. Because bulimia is usually a long-term disease, a health care provider will need to check the weight, exercise habits, and physical/mental health from time to time.
3. If you think you have an
eating disorder, then it's really important to talk to your midwife or
primary care Doctor [gynecologist] as soon as you can. It may not be easy for you to tell them, but it will be worth it.
PS. You may also be more likely to develop postnatal depression (PND) . It's important to be aware of the signs of PND, talk with your Primary doctor.
4. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco, refined sugars, soft drinks, drink 6 - 8 glasses of filtered water daily.
