Hi,
Thanks for writing to us,

Medications used for the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis, especially Methotrexate can have several side effects which include dizziness, fatigue, confusion, body ache etc that you are describing. Depending on the doseage of the medication prescribed, these can be expected side effects of these drugs. If the side effects are more than you can tolerate, then contact your doctor with this complain.

None of the medicines should be taken with alcohol as this can be harmful for the body. The side effects can also get accentuated if the medicine is taken with alcohol. This habit should be strictly avoided.

If your joints are swollen and painful, contact your treating doctor regarding changes in doseage or medicines.

Hope your query is answered.
