What Are The Ill Effects Of Potassium Chromate?

Recently, I got a very small amount potassium chromate on my hands, which I washed off. When I got home I realized that I still had some on the jacket that I had worn all day (if the potassium chromate leaves a yellow stain.) I was wondering if all of the things I had touched with the jacket had been contaminated or if the small amount on the jacket would not affect me. Also will the jacket be ok to wear after I wash it?
