What Are The Itchy Bumps On Buttocks?

My boyfriend has itchy colorless bumps on his bum and some on his arms. They kinda look like mosquito bites all over. I had him put some caladryl clear on and it s helping him a lot. Our bed sheets are clean, He hasn t really used any new soaps or lotions and the only new things he s injested is these caramel chips and he had some alcohol for new year after a couple years of not having any, what could be causing this?

I can understand your concern for itchy bumps on buttocks of your boyfriend. I can get from your query that you have applied quite a lot of things to get relief form the same. In all such kind of cases it requires close physical examination of the area to diagnose the exact entity.

In your boyfriend’s case it appears to be either related to simple acneform like lesions or to scabies also. It is worth to apply a cream containing Permethrin 5% in your boyfriend’s case for one night below neck. If still the bumps remain then a proper treatment for the acneform eruptions can be taken. You can take further guidance from your treating dermatologist.
