What Are The Long Term Issues Caused By Lodged Bullet In Back?

I have a bullet lodged in my back that cannot be removed, in the beginning it didn't cause me any problems but it's been 9 yrs and it is becoming severely painful mainly when I stand and\or sit for long periods of time is it possible that the bullet has shift and if so what kind of long term issues should I be on the look out for.

You need to consult a general surgeon who will need to do either an XRay or MRI to locate the current position of the bullet. The two possibilities that might be present are either infection of the bullet tract or impingement on some nerve. If the latter, then you might be referred to a spinal surgeon for further treatment
