Hello,

Metoprolol is a safe drug and side effects are very minimal even after long term use.

Some patients experience side effects like dizziness and fatigue rarely, otherwise, it is a safe drug devoid of major adverse effects.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
