What Are The Normal Results Of Nuclear Stress Test?

Hi - I had a nuclear stress test monday, my primary dr called to make sure I follow up with my cardiologist becase there was a change in my ekg. My follow up apt was schedued for 8/8 and the cardiologist s office said that was fine. However, it worries me becuase I am totally in the dark as to what that could mean. Please give me some information. I am a female approaching 65. Thank you, Christine

Good evening mam. The change in EKG in nuclear teat Signifies that the heart is not coping up with stress levels well. It starts showing changes on exertion which is usually a first sign that the heart vessels may be getting blovked as more blood flow is needed during stress and somewhere it is getting stopped. You may need to get a coronary angiography done to rule any form of obstruction. Also get your lipids checked. Hope the information was useful
