What Are The Painful White Spots After A Septoplasty?

I had a septoplasty and reduction of the turbinates done 15 days ago I have white spots that have appeared within the last 2 days with are very painful is this normal? And also my stitches are all still there and have not dissolved yet is this normal? Many thanks

Hi.
As per your case history you are having bacterial infection.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
