What Are The Parameters Of High Blood Pressure?
I take Diovan 80mg, one q d, I have been out for a week. My blood pressure today was 150/96. The nurse said I should get it. The pharmacy is willing to give me meds to last til my doctor is back in the office. Is this a high blood pressure and is it risky?

I understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that you can wait if he is coming back in 3-5 days & keep monitoring your BP. If he on long holiday then start taking Amlong 2.5 mg in the morning and see your doc as soon as he arrive back in OPD.
