Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
The common injuries following blunt injury or slapping are black eye which is because of collection of blood in the layers of skin of eyelids, conjunctival congestion...
However all cases require evaluation by a ophthalmologist to look for underlying serious conditions like corneal abrasion, traumatic iridocyclitis, lens subluxation, hyphema, retinal injuries....
Hence she requires evaluation by a ophthalmologist to look for these conditions and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
