What Are The Possible Treatments For Early Morning Hypoglycemia?
Hello,
My mother in law has been having early morning hypoglycemia. She has not been eating a regular diet which we are addressing and have switched several of her medications that might be contributing to the problem; however, aggressive inpatient testing is not being done to determine the exact cause. Symptom management seems to be the choice and I am wondering if this is prudent. She is 87 and would like to stay home but if she falls or has a seizure this may not be possible.
dear sir I understand your concern.early morning hypo is due to not taking of proper meal in night time.here age is fav to they tend to eat less and absorption also will reduce.if you want to find cause of hypo you need to get her admitted in hospital and take the blood sample during hypo.test like C peptide assay and insulin assy can give us some clue if conditions like insulinoma are suspected,my advise for her to take a glass of milk before going to bed.if reports are normal Notting to worry.is she having any renal stones...kindly get back to with those reports I ca serve you better,,,,regards
