What Are The Precautions In Placenta Previa?

Hello doc, I m 20 weeks n 4 days pregnant...I hav done my level 2 usg...it shows placenta previa, low lying placenta reaching to the o.s., posterior with maturity grade 1..its.mean I should take complete rest ,no household work should bw done...is it serious or normal?

Dear madam,I understand your concern.Usually placenta lies in upper segment of uterus.In most of cases naturally placenta moves to upper segment by term But in a very few cases it may remain in lower segment .so for now you need not worry.Take rest
Don't walk for long distance
no strenuous work and no intercourse .you will be able to know abt your placental position in further scan .
As of now it's not a serious issue
