What Are The Precautions To Be Taken Before And After Conceiving?

I m having 2 miscarriages in first trimester.i had a dermoid cyst which has been removed now.my reports are normal.according to reports,there is no problem of conceiving.my doctor has told me to take meprate for 6 months.my 6 months are completing in next month.i want to know whether i can conceive now?what precautions i should take before & after conceiving

Hi,

Since the dermoid cyst has been completely removed, the chance of pregnancy is high. Hence, do not worry. I would suggest you to start taking folic acid tablets right from the time you are trying for pregnancy. Any iron deficiency should be supplemented with oral or parenteral iron based on severity.
