What Are The Problems Associated With Twisted Colon?

I just had a colonoscopy today, and all though groggy, he did say that I had a twisted colon. That was that and I was released as the sedition was wearing off, just wondering what this meant. I can t seem to find much good information on the internet. Thanks, any input will help, I did have my gallbladder removed just a year ago and that didn t help any of the problems I was having. Thanks, Kathy

Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I am Dr.Snis Khan,

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

Its most likely a disease of large intestine call VOLVULUS,. An abdominal X ray could help in diagnosis and barium enema would treat the condition if not then surgery would suggested....

I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.

Wish you the best of health.

Regards.
