Hello,

I can understand your concern. It is necessary for an oncologist to examine the cancerous area clinically. Having just test results and chemotherapy/radiotherapy results can not suffice for the decision regarding surgery and further treatment.

Oncologists are experts in cancer diagnosis and treatment and they get patients with breast, ovary, uterine, prostate, penile, rectal cancers everyday. They examine the patients objectively and even though you may feel hesitation or embarrassment, they do not as they are used to such examinations. I am sorry but this examination is necessary for you.

I hope this explanation helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you get well soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
