I am 77 years old, am very fatigued most afternoons and evenings, have quite a busy type of day regularly also feel dizzy at times, and am unable to walk in a straight line at times, my daughter has been diagnosed with pernicious anemia, is it possible that alsdo is my problem, as I am told it runs in families.
Dear Friend Welcome to HCM. Yes it can be due to pernicious anemia as it can cause vitamin B12 deficiency leading to peripheral neuropathy. Usually it is associated with tingling and numbness in legs. However other causes can be there. So I advise you to get evaluated by your doctor. If required you will be investigated. I hope I am able to answer your query , still if you have any query ask me.
