What Are The Reasons Of Herpes Genital Attack Even Not Having Sexual Contact?
How can I get a herpes genital outbreak if I have not even had sexual contact in over l l/2 years? This outbreak has been going on for almost 4 weeks now and after research figured out what was going on and started on Valtrex today. Still do not understand why I got a breakout.

Herpes virus following infection it will remain dormant in the nerve endings, Whenever there is a decreased immunity it will activate and produces the symptoms.
As you are on antiviral drug, it will not treat the condition but it will inhibit the multiplication of the virus and reduces the severity of the disease.
The good hygiene and the boosting the immunity is very much important in controlling this disease.
