General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your son is feeding normally and breathing comfortably, there is nothing to be worried about. Swallowed foreign objects usually pass out of the digestive tract in 7-8 days.

If he develops pain, fever, difficulty eating, vomiting or other concerning symptoms, please follow up with the emergency room/pediatrician as soon as possible.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
