What Are The Repercussions After Missing A Dose Of Ampiclox?

I had a deep cut on my third finger toe....and I was being given diclofenac pills for the pains and ampiclox 500mg capsules...the problem is that they told me to take 4capsules of ampiclox a day and i accidentally forgot and took 4 in the morning and 4in the evening...what do i do????

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the overdose in moderate quantity may be well managed with the P 450 enzyme system of the drug clearing system of the liver. As you took 4 tablets in the evening and 4 tablets in the morning, that comes around 2000 mg of ampicillin at 12 hours interval. Watch for the following features over a period of time if you face within next 12 hours period:
- Severe abdomen pain
- Nausea, vomiting
- Frequency of stools
- Raised heart rate
- Flushing of body
- Tremors
