What Are The Repercussions Of Citalopram Ingestion By A Child?

Hi I ve just found my 1 year its with a packet of citalopram, almost positive that he hasn t taken any but am concerned. Should I take him to the emergency room just in case or monitor him here. As I said it s extremely unlikely he consumed any as I got there straight away and don t think any are missing. If he had taken one, what would I notice and when?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you can account for all the tablets then you do not need to concerned.

It would be difficult for a 1 year to open a packet and he may not be able to then manipulate the tablet to put it in his mouth, especially if it is small

I hope this helps
