What Are The Repercussions Of Accidental Double Dosage Of Calcimax?

Hello Dr, Now,my 4th month 1st week is over last week i went to hospital for regular check up.dr said to me start calcimax 500 tablate.she said take 2 tablate in empty stomoch.Around 3:30 pm i take 2 tablate.Is it safe to take 2 tablate at same time???pls give me suggetion. Thanks & Regards Urvi

There's nothing to worry about it.

Calcimax Tablet which contains Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D3, Zinc is commonly prescribed to treat deficiency states of calcium levels, vitamin D, or other conditions.

As the demand of these minerals and vitamins is more during pregnancy it is usually prescribed as 1 tab twice daily. Since you have taken 2 tablets at the same, there's nothing to worry about it. Skip the second dose of the day.
In addition, you should take calcium rich foods like cheese, yogurt, milk, dark leafy green, fortified cereals, orange juice, soybean, and meat, fish, poultry if you are a non-vegan.
