General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Accidental ingestion of deodorant is toxic. It irritates the intestine & stomach. It may also cause respiratory symptoms.

In the hospital, he should be under observation for a few days so that any developing symptoms can be treated & all possible medical aid can be given.

When treatment gets neglected, it may result in complications later in life.

When the severity of the poison is high & it is not treated in time, it may get fatal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
