By mistakly my babby has gives double doasge (aporox 14ml) of medicine maxtra P, doctor told to give 7.5ml at a time,but by mistakly me n my husband give him the medicine, what should i do now? Pls suggest.. That medicine contents , phenylephrine,hydrocloride,chlorpheniramini maleate,paracetamol ,

Thank you for posting at HCM.

There is nothing to worry about if your child is not showing any signs of drug reaction. To be sure, you can take him/her to a physician. The drugs that were given, usually, under normal circumstances do not cause any larger discomfort other than a bit a heartburn in extreme cases. If child is feeding well, then there is nothing to worry.

Your child may remain sleepy for about next 24 hours, so don't leave him/her alone.

If possible, visiting a physician is not going to hurt. Give him/her 5ml twice of Ranitidine syp if you have at home
