What Are The Repercussions Of Inhaling Fumes Of Burnt Plastic?

Hi, when serving ramen noodles I accidentally melted and burnt a plastic bowl on the stove that I was using. I read online how to remove the plastic from the stove, and it said to heat it up and let it burn for ten minutes, and then wipe it up afterwards, of which I did. During the entire process I opened up some windows and a door, and even briefly stepped outside from time to time. Nonetheless, I still inhaled some of the burning plastic fumes. What are the potential repurcussions of doing this?

Hi,

I understand your concerns. Habitual inhalation of plastic fumes is a cause of concern. In your case, although you have inhaled plastic fumes, it is an occasional (accidental) inhalation. Furthermore, you were going outside and were also breathing fresh air in between.

I advise to keep your home well ventilated. If you notice anything unusual, should consult with your physician.
