General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you are not planning for a baby & have missed your regular pill & had unprotected intercourse, you are suggested to take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to avoid getting pregnant. Continue to take the regular contraceptive pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
