What Are The Repercussions Of Smoking Marijuana During Pregnancy?
Hello, im 36 weeks pregnant and ive been a heavy smoker for about 7 years i just quit about a few days ago... I live in Massachusetts and i was wondering whats going to hapoen when i give birth and they drug test me because I ll obviously come up positive for marijuana... Im so scared... I just want to be able to take my baby home and the only reason i smoke so much is because iv always had trouble gaining weight and eating and i have severe depression and the marijuana helps me a lot ... Im just wondering what will happen...
Taking marihuana during pregnancy puts the baby in the risk of stillbirth, preterm birth, low weight in birth, etc. Since you are a heavy smoker most probably it will show on test results. There is no evidence that marihuana prevents weight gain so you can stop it.
