Hello,
In the current scenario, in view of her symptoms and the fact that she travels everyday, it is most essential to have a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably through the trans-vaginal route, to know the viability of the pregnancy and also to look for any hemorrhages. If hormone deficiency is the cause for the spotting, progesterone may help. Dark colored bleeding is suggestive of old bleeding. If I were to treat her, I would ask her to take absolute bed rest until all the bleeding subsides and also to avoid all strenuous activity including sexual intercourse. Vomiting can be managed with medication, rest and diet control. Hope this helps.
