What Are The Risks Of Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty For Open-angle Glaucoma And Can Insulin Contribute To High Intraocular Pressure?

I have been diagnosed with open angle glaucoma and doctor said i have intraocular pressure in my eyes. He there recommends selective laser trabeculoplasty. My requests: 1. What are the risks of SLT to consider if i am to go for it? 2. I am diabetic and taking insulin. Is insulin contributing to this IOP? If so should I stop taking insulin? 3. I hear weight lifting also cause IOP. Is this true?
